I am one of the guest artists at Estey Real Estate and Gallery, 216 First Street, Benicia from Sept. 14 – Nov. 13. The exhibit is up now, and our reception is October 10, 3-5 p.m. I am joined by the talented Dee Tivernan. I hope you can join us on October 10 but if not, stop by the gallery and see the show!
Opium Dreams
My sister, Joyce Byrum, and I are thrilled that our painting “Opium Dreams,” sold during the Arts Benicia exhibit, We the Makers. Thank you, Sheryl and Jeff! We hope you enjoy the painting as much as we enjoyed working together to create it.
Lavender Rose
My thanks to Renee for purchasing “Lavender Rose,” at the Arts Benicia exhibit, Art of the Community. I hope you enjoy it, dear friend.
Together We Rise
I was thrilled to be asked by NY2CA Gallery owner, Vickie Marchand, to be one of 13 artists to help complete a massive mural on the side of her building on First Street in Benicia. Completed in two weeks, the mural, “Together We Rise,” is a wonderful addition to our Benicia arts community. I am the third wing down on the left, the egret in the marsh. This was certainly the most interesting “canvas” that I’ve worked on… painting on
stucco while balanced on scaffolding!
