As a young couple living in Kentucky, my husband and I loved to make trips to the beach towns on the Atlantic coast. We’d wake up early and watch the sun rise out of the sea, sitting on blankets shivering and drinking coffee to warm up. Now as older folks living on the Pacific coast, we more frequently grab a bottle of wine, a couple of glasses and take the short drive to our own beach for the sunset. This painting is for both those adventures with the emphasis on Together.
