In celebration of the Centennial of the Women’s Suffrage Act, signed into law on August 26, 1920.While 2020 was a year of incredible struggle, I found joy in celebrating the Centennial of the Women’s Suffrage Act, signed into law on August 26, 1920. I can vote today because of the work and sacrifices of these amazing and strong women. If you look closely in the lower left corner, you can see part of the Kentucky delegation of suffragists, my tribe indeed. I have never missed a vote since my 18th birthday. I can’t let these women down.
